On Saturday, October 5, Housing Assistance’s 10th Annual Big Fix-A-Thon is coming to Hyannis and Centerville, and we need your help!
Volunteers are needed to serve as Fixers, Fundraisers, or Fixers/Fundraisers during the fundraising day of service.
Fixers will donate their time and talents helping this year’s recipients with a variety of small home repairs which typically includes yard work; hauling trash; interior and exterior painting; repair or replacement of walkways, stairs and fences; and light plumbing and electrical work. All skill levels are welcome.
Fundraisers show their commitment by raising funds for our year-round housing programs on Cape Cod and the Islands.
Fixers/Fundraisers make their impact go even further by doing both.
Volunteers who raise a minimum of $250 will receive a Big Fix-A-Thon commemorative hammer lapel pin. Prizes, which include a $500 gift certificate to Embargo and 2 round-trip Cape Air tickets from Boston to a New England destination, will be given to individuals as well as teams who raise the most funds this year.

Once Housing Assistance reaches capacity, registrants will be signed up to volunteer at overflow projects in the Town of Barnstable.
