Alisa Magnotta is Chief Executive Officer of Housing Assistance Corporation, the regional housing agency for Cape Cod and the Islands. During her 8-year tenure, she has transformed Housing Assistance by nearly doubling its size, diversifying its revenue stream, and creating innovative programs to address the housing needs of low- and middle-income people across the region.
Today, Housing Assistance has more than 100 employees at five locations and a budget of $48.5M. The agency served more than 6,500 people in 2024 with services and programs ranging from homeless outreach and prevention, housing stabilization and education, and housing development and advocacy to address a protracted regional housing crisis.
Alisa has over 25 years of nonprofit management experience and is known for being innovative, collaborative, and mission focused. Prior to her role at Housing Assistance, she was the executive director at Alzheimer’s Services of Cape Cod & the Islands and Chief Operating Officer for Gosnold Behavioral Health.
Originally from Lansing, Michigan, Alisa holds a Master of Science in communication management from Simmons College. She lives in Orleans and is the proud mother of three daughters.

Cassi joined Housing Assistance in 2017. Originally from the Chicagoland area, Cassi has experience in the mental health field as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, community-based services supervisor, and most recently as an Outpatient Clinic Director. Cassi was formerly our Senior VP of Programs and Client Services before moving to the role of COO in 2022. Cassi lives on Cape and enjoys cheering on her favorite Cape Cod Baseball League team.

Marissa joined Housing Assistance in 2023 as Chief of Staff where she provides executive, administrative, project management support to the CEO. Previously, Marissa served as the Chief Operating Officer at the Cape Cod & Islands Association of REALTORS® where she managed internal operations, led staff and ensured alignment with the mission and strategic priorities of the organization. Marissa received her BA from Smith College and her Masters in Management from Simmons College. Marissa lives in Brewster with her family.

Christa Danilowicz brings a wealth of experience to Housing Assistance, joining most recently from Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Massachusetts, Cape Cod & Islands, where she dedicated nearly a decade of her career in fundraising efforts for the organization.
Originally from Worcester, MA, Christa has cherished Cape Cod since childhood, being fortunate to spend every summer in Sandwich before making it her full-time home in 2017. After moving, she joined the Cape Cod Commercial Fishermen’s Alliance and returned to Big Brothers Big Sisters in 2019. Her professional expertise includes major gifts, annual fund development, strategic planning, special events, and collaborating with board and fundraising leadership committees. Christa is deeply passionate about cultivating meaningful relationships and strongly believes in the transformative power of purposeful missions to create a better world.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Christa is an active and committed community volunteer. She has held roles as Co-Chair and committee member for Philanthropy Partners of Cape Cod and the Islands’s Philanthropy Day on Cape Cod, contributes to the Fundraising Alumni Committee for the Francis Ouimet Scholarship Fund, and actively participates in the Sandwich PTA

Richard joined Housing Assistance in 2024. Originally from Texas, Richard has been visiting Cape Cod his whole life and moved to the Cape permanently in 2012. He brings nearly two decades of experience in the HR field, specializing in people and culture development, and holds both a Masters in HR and SHRM-SCP certification. Before becoming the VP of People and Culture, Richard contributed to various leadership roles in human resources, cultivating a deep understanding of team dynamics and organizational growth. Now living in Mashpee with his wife and their four young children, Richard enjoys getting out on the water or beach year-round and spending time behind a grill.

David joined Housing Assistance in 2016 as Assistant Director of Housing Development, before moving into the Director role in 2019. David co-authored HAC’s widely quoted report, “Housing On Cape Cod: The High Cost of Doing Nothing” and he helped establish our innovative Rent 365 program. Today David oversees the agency’s short- and long-term housing development efforts. Previously, David was the Regional Waste Reduction Coordinator for Barnstable County. He holds a master’s degree in urban and environmental policy and planning from Tufts University and a bachelor’s degree in political science from The College of the Holy Cross.

After over 10 years in Health Care Administration, Paula joined Housing Assistance Corp in the fall of 2006 as a Case Manager at the Village at Cataumet shelter. Since then, she has held several different positions in the family shelter system. In 2021 she moved to the role of VP of Homeless Services. In this position she oversees the three family shelters and the Outreach Department. Originally from Stoughton, she moved with her family to Cape Cod 23 years ago. Paula holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Curry College.

Catherine joined Housing Assistance in 2018 as Director of Development, before moving to the role of VP of Community Engagement in 2025. She grew up on Cape Cod and has proudly dedicated her career to the nonprofit sector for more than twelve years. You may know her from her work at the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod, Cape Cod Young Professionals, and other local nonprofits.
Catherine holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Endicott College. Most recently, Catherine co-chaired Philanthropy Partners of the Cape and Islands Philanthropy Day Committee. She has also served on the boards of Leadership Cape Cod and Housing Assistance.

Christina Wiseman joined Housing Assistance in 2023 in support of the agency's public relations, program marketing, and overall mission. Prior to Housing Assistance, Christina worked at partner agency Duffy Health Center for 7 years in a similar role. She serves on the Board of Directors for Cape Cod Young Professionals (CCYP) and Harwich Ecumenical Council for Housing.

Heidi joined Housing Assistance in 2015, holding various roles prior to her current role as Senior Director of HCEC and Leased Housing. As a multigenerational Cape Codder, Heidi continues to appreciate the opportunity to provide resources to the community she grew up in. In 2021 Heidi facilitated the pilot program to Housing Assistance’s successful THRIVE program. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts Boston in Sociology and Philosophy, as well as multiple Housing Counseling Certifications. Heidi lives on Cape and enjoys frequenting the Brewster flats with her husband and daughter.

Brendon Parker is a licensed construction supervisor who brings to Housing Assistance over two decades of experience in residential construction, renovation and restoration on the Cape. He previously owned and operated his own residential construction company. In his role, Parker oversees the operations of Housing Assistance’s residential rental portfolio, including property maintenance, tenant services and long-term planning to support the organization’s expanding housing footprint.

Keith joined Housing Assistance Corporation in 2012 and manages all construction projects including the development of new housing and the acquisition and refurbishment of existing properties. Keith also manages day-to-day operations and maintenance of 19 residential rental units, 11 scatter- site units, 5 shelter properties, and special projects as needed. Keith maintains a Massachusetts Unrestricted Construction Supervisor License. For almost twenty years prior to joining Housing Assistance, Keith owned and operated an independent contracting company engaged in all phases of commercial and residential building.

Ann Marie joined HAC in 2001, and currently oversees the Individual Homeless Services Department. She is responsible for the coordination and development of services for the Homeless Outreach and Permanent Supportive Housing programs. Ann Marie has over 20 years of experience working with marginalized populations. Her area of specialty is working with adults with mental health and substance use disorders, and those experiencing chronic homelessness.
She is passionate about the creation of long-term housing solutions aimed at helping people, break the cycle of homelessness, and improve their quality of life.

Caitlin Pierce joined Housing Assistance Corporation in 2019. Caitlin is originally from Maine, but spent many years living in Philadelphia, where she obtained her clinical license in marriage & family therapy, before eventually returning to New England and now calling Cape Cod home. Caitlin has over 14 years' experience working in the mental health field both in practice and in supervision/administration. Caitlin spent her former years working for in-home family therapy programs where she had first-hand experience supporting children and families in their healing process from crisis, trauma, relationship breakdowns, and various challenging circumstances. She has worked in addictions programs and with general outpatient practices. Caitlin also is an "exercise geek" and moonlights as a fitness instructor. She loves running, hiking, exploring nature trails, and enjoying downtime with her family.

Brian brings a broad range of experience across residential energy efficiency and HVAC systems. His background includes weatherization, HVAC system design and sizing, and hands-on heat pump installation through the Mass Save Heat Pump Installer Network. Having worked on projects from the building envelope to high-efficiency heating and cooling systems, he understands how all parts of a home work together to improve comfort, health, and energy performance. As Director of Energy Programs at Housing Assistance, Brian leads a team dedicated to improving the comfort, safety, affordability, and energy efficiency of homes across Cape Cod. He works closely with residents, contractors, utilities, and community partners to deliver solutions that have a lasting impact on both households and the communities they serve. When he's not focused on energy programs and building performance, Brian enjoys playing chess, coaching youth sports, and being a husband and father to his wife and two boys.
