Maintenance Technician

Housing Assistance has an opening for a maintenance technician. This position will provide general maintenance for our 17 residential units, 5 shelter facilities, 10 scattered site shelter units, and office locations.

Duties may include minor plumbing and electrical repairs, wall patching, painting, light custodial work, and assembly of furniture. Must have the ability to multi-task; lift up to 50 pounds; have a valid driver’s license and a vehicle; have tools; be comfortable on a ladder; and have a comfort level with email and work order system. Must be available for nights and weekends for on-call schedule and emergencies.

This is a 35-hour per week position that reports to the Property Manager.

Full-Time Licensed Clinician

Housing Assistance is looking for an independently-licensed clinician (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) to fill a full-time, salaried, benefit-eligible position at Angel House in Hyannis, a residential rehabilitation program for women in recovery and their children.

This position includes providing family and group therapy to residential clients in a structured environment to support treatment of substance use disorders. The ideal candidate must show they have working experience being creative, compassionate, computer literate, and have family therapy experience. The program’s treatment structure blends both recovery principles and trauma-informed care.

This position works Monday through Friday and includes rotating on-call weekends monthly. This position will work under the supervision of the Program Director and Clinical Director.

Shelter Support Staff

Housing Assistance Corporation is looking for support staff for our shelter in North Falmouth that serves homeless mothers and their children. Our shelter serves families who are experiencing homelessness and helps them to stabilize their housing situation. Qualified applicants will have an interest or experience working with families in crisis, be dependable and reliable, and be able to follow shelter procedures.

Various per diem weekends and night shifts are available in a 24/7 operation. Support staff report to the Shelter Director. The hourly rate is $13.

Village at Cataumet Shelter Support Staff (Part-Time)

HAC is looking for support staff for nights, weekends, and holidays/per diem for our family homeless shelter located in Bourne. The shelter serves families who are experiencing homelessness and helps them to stabilize their housing situation.

Qualified applicants will have an interest or experience working with families in crisis; be dependable and reliable; and be able to follow shelter procedures. The following shifts are currently available:

  • Saturdays, 8 am-8 pm; Saturdays, noon-midnight
  • Sundays, 8 am-8 pm; Sundays, noon-midnight
  • Monday-Friday evening shifts, 4-8 pm and 4 pm-midnight
  • Holiday coverage
