Family Shelter Case Manager (Hyannis)

Housing Assistance Corporation is currently hiring for a shelter Case Manager at our family homeless shelter in Hyannis. This position will work directly with clients to identify housing barriers, assist with housing search activities, and complete required state documentation. From assessment to placement, the case manager will be responsible for assisting families with budgeting, monitoring completion of required tasks, and supporting efforts to secure long-term secure housing.

Qualified candidates will have experience working with homeless or low-income families, be team oriented, and have experience identifying community resources. Bachelor’s degree in human services field is a plus!

This position will report to the Director of Scattered Sites.

Shelter Staff (Temporary)

Housing Assistance is currently seeking temporary support staff for our shelters located in North Falmouth, Bourne and Hyannis. These shelters serve families of all constellations who are experiencing homelessness.

Qualified applicants will have an interest or experience working with families in crisis, be dependable and reliable, and be able to follow shelter procedures. Various shifts are available  in a 24/7 operation and additional stipends are available at this time. Support staff report to the Shelter Director.

Compensation is $14.50 per hour plus stipend.

Shelter Support Staff

Housing Assistance is looking for support staff for evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays/per diem for our family homeless shelters in the Falmouth/Bourne area.

Our shelters serve families who are experiencing homelessness and help them to stabilize their housing situation. Qualified applicants will have an interest or experience working with families in crisis, be dependable and reliable, and be able to follow shelter procedures. Various shifts are available. The hourly rate is $14.50/hour. Support staff report to the Shelter Director.
