Kevin CrawfordPrior to coming to Housing Assistance in the summer of 2018, Kevin Crawford worked as a firefighter and paramedic. Over the past two and a half years, he has worked at the Village at Cataumet and currently at our Scattered Sites family shelter in Hyannis, where he is a case manager.

“The common denominator with the three jobs, is that you’re basically helping those who can’t help themselves,” Crawford said of his previous career as a first responder and his current one at Housing Assistance.

Seeing the impact of our work prompted Crawford to join his fellow colleagues in our family shelters in participating in last year’s Walk for Hope. “I really think it’s a great cause and I am going to do it again this year,” he said.

Crawford is one of several Housing Assistance employees who will be walking once again to connect our clients to the safe, stable housing they need. “I strongly believe that housing is the cornerstone for a safe and healthy life,” he said.
