Governor Prence, located on Rt. 6A in Orleans, is a collaboration between the Preservation of Affordable Housing (POAH), Housing Assistance (HAC), and Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod (HHCC). POAH (Phase 1 of the project) will be constructing two apartment-style buildings with a total of 61 income-restricted units (30-80% AMI). HAC (Phase 2) will be constructing 2 townhouse-style buildings with 5 ownership units in each (10 units total – 8 two-bedrooms and 2 three-bedrooms) restricted to income-levels at or below 200% AMI. HHCC (Phase 3) will be constructing 7 three-bedroom single family homes restricted to income levels at or below 80% AMI.
