Our Money Matters Course is a Free Financial Literacy Course Offered Online to Massachusetts Residents
Money Matters is a financial literacy course designed to help participants focus their hopes and dreams into SMART goals and then into a series of actionable steps to achieve those goals. We review how to analyze income and expenses with the goal of creating a sustainable budget and then creating a “spending plan for life.” We review the topic of credit and highlight how to make positive changes to a persons’ credit profile and how to address issues on credit reports.
This is just one course Housing Assistance offers to support home buyer education. There is also a First Steps to Home Ownership which is available free of charge, and the First Time Home Buyer Course for Massachusetts Residents.
Money Matters Course Information
Money Matters consists of 4 hours of financial literacy education and is offered in a virtual (Zoom) meeting format. There is no fee for the class. Course materials will be provided.
