Join the Cape Cod Commission on Tuesday, September 21 at 3:30 pm for an informational webinar focused on the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). Through ARPA, the U.S. Economic Development Agency (EDA) was allocated $3 billion in supplemental funding to assist communities, including Cape Cod, in recovering from the economic impacts of Covid-19 and to help build resilience to future economic disruptions.
The Cape Cod Commission invites applicants from throughout the region to learn more about ARPA funding opportunities which are available via the following six innovative challenges:
- Build Back Better Regional Challenge
- Good Jobs Challenge
- Economic Adjustment Assistance
- Indigenous Communities
- Travel, Tourism, and Outdoor Recreation
- Statewide Planning, Research, and Networks
During the webinar, Commission staff will provide program summaries and participants will have the chance to ask questions about program details and share project ideas with Commission staff and other attendees, creating opportunities for collaborative partnerships in the region.
If unable to attend the webinar on September 21st, the Commission will be hosting another on Thursday, September 16 at 1i pm. Both will follow the same format.
If you are unable to attend a webinar but would like to connect with Commission staff on a possible project and application, please reach out to Jennifer Clinton, Community Development Planner, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
