Help your community through in-kind donations.

You can help those in crisis by donating items. The items we’re asking for may seem small (e.g. soap, socks, and blankets) but for someone experiencing homelessness or moving into permanent housing, these items represent comfort, dignity, and a new start.

Housing Assistance can ONLY accept new, unused items. We cannot accept gently used or worn items. View a list of local community organizations that accept gently used goods at the bottom of the page.

The following Cape Cod charities accept donations.

Christ the King

Gently used clothing and many other items can be donated to Christ the King (or St. Vincent dePaul) Thrift Shop at 4463 Falmouth Road in Cotuit, which lets our shelter clients shop for free at the store. Contact Christ the King at 508-420‐0949.

Habitat Restore

Furniture can be donated to Habitat Restore in Yarmouth & Falmouth. They accept building materials, furniture, working appliances. No small items such as houseware. Contact Habitat Restore at 508-394-6400.
