This one day workshop fulfills the Post Purchase education requirement for the One Mortgage and offers a discount from certain insurance carriers participating in the program.

Graduates will receive a HomeSafe certificate that is presented to participating insurance agents to receive a home insurance discount. Currently, the following companies participating are:

  • 15% Discount — Norfolk & Dedham Insurance
  • 10% Discount — Arbella Mutual, Commerce/MAPFRE, and Harleysville Worcester Insurance
  • 5% Discount — Hanover Insurance, Liberty Mutual, Met Life Auto & Home, Quincy Mutual, Safety Insurance and Travelers

The workshop will feature guest speakers volunteering from our community. They will cover topics that include: energy and weatherization; money management; re-financing; homeowner’s insurance; and how to consider energy improvements and understand Home Net Zero Energy.

Course Fee: $25 per household

Free: One Mortgage post-education requirement household
