Housing Assistance is once again excited to be a beneficiary of the Annual Charter Cup Fishing Tournament, organized by E.J. Jaxtimer Builder, Inc. and sponsored by Sam Baxter of Baxter’s Fish ‘n Chip.
Taking place on Wednesday, July 15, this annual tournament is a friendly competition involving groups of local businesses and fishing boats teaming up to raise funds for their chosen charity.
Team Housing
This year’s team will fish aboard the Gannet, captained by George Noon and first mate and Housing Assistance Board Member Ron Winner.
The team will raise funds to support our housing programs which serve more than 5,000 households annually through a range of programs that include operating four family shelters; homeless outreach to individuals living in the streets and woods of Cape Cod; homeless prevention; developing affordable housing; financial literacy classes; and weatherization of homes to reduce heating and utility bills.
Now more than ever, our homes are the foundation of keeping us safe and healthy.

Donate Today
You can also support this year’s Charter Cup Fishing Tournament by making a donation.
The need for safe, stable housing in our region continues to grow. Due to the pandemic, people have lost jobs and income, making it difficult for them to pay their rent or mortgage. Since the stay-at-home order was put in place in March, Housing Assistance has witnessed a 500% increase in requests for assistance beyond the pre-COVID month.
Your generosity will make a difference in the lives of those we serve at a time when they need it most.
