This year HAC will be one of 17 local non-profits participating in the Spectacle of Trees at the JFK Museum, 397 Main Street, Hyannis. Each group is creating a Christmas trees that is adorned with tinsel, ornaments and a host of fabulous prizes.
The theme for HAC’s tree is “Home Is Where the Heart Is.” It will include an iPad, gift cards for Home Depot and Best Buy, gift certificates for Hy-Line Cruises, Hanlon’s Shoes, Barnstable Harbor Eco Tours, Riverway Lobster House and Wimpy’s Seafood Café, a one-year membership at the YMCA and lots of other goodies. Check HAC’s Facebook page for news on other gifts under HAC’s tree. (And if your business would like to donate a gift, contact Deanna Bussiere at dbussiere@HAConCapeCod.org or 508-771-5400, ext. 270).
When you arrive at the Spectacle of Trees, you will be able to purchase “Tree Bucks.” Each tree buck that is put in an organization’s box earns that non-profit $10. The more Tree Bucks you put in a box, or order online, the better your chances of winning the tree and the more money that non-profit will earn. If you are the lucky person who is chosen, you will take home the decorated tree and every present under it!
The Spectacle of Trees will be open Nov. 29-Dec. 8. For more information, visit www.capecodcharitablefunraisers.com.
