For 20 years, Cape Cod golfers have pitched in to help the needy during the annual Golf Day to End Homelessness. At participating local courses, golfers make a donation to enter a closest-to-the-pin contest. Since 1993 more than $190,000 has been raised to help Project Prevention and other HAC programs.
Participating Courses were the Captains Golf Course in Brewster, Cotuit Highground Country Club, Dennis Highlands Golf Course, New Seabury Country Club and the Woods Hole Golf Club. Golfers could win free foursomes at local courses, restaurant gift certificates, Melody Tent tickets and other prizes from 34 businesses.
More than 25 volunteers helped make this year’s event, which was sponsored by the Cape and Islands Golf Shop in Hyannis, a success.
The next event will be Big Fix in Dennis. Learn more!
