Lisa Guyon, HAC’s director of resource development, was chosen as one of “40 under 40” by Cape & Plymouth Business magazine.
The award spotlights the region’s top young business leaders who excel in their industry and show dynamic leadership. The honorees, chosen from hundreds of nominees, have made a mark in our region at an extraordinarily young age. According to Cape and Plymouth Business magazine, those selected best exemplified an entrepreneurial spirit, commitment to community service and potential to positively contribute to the future of our region.
“This year’s class of honorees is an impressive one,” said Joy Jordan, the magazine’s editor. “Each has made his or her path in different ways, and we can learn much from them.” The award was presented at the Indian Pond Country Club in Plymouth on June 14.
Guyon joined the HAC staff in January 2011. She came to HAC from Building Impact, a Boston-based program that partners with real estate companies to deliver volunteer, donation and social networking opportunities in the buildings where people work and live. She helped create Building Impact and served as the executive director.
Guyon’s work with Building Impact was recognized several years ago by Boston Business Journal, which named her as one of “40 Under 40” in the Boston area. Guyon is a Harwich High School graduate and earned a B.S. in sociology from Wheaton College.
