The project is a 14-unit development of affordable one-, two- and three-bedroom rental apartments in one structure designed with three sections in the style of a historic Cape Cod home. The the 1.25-acre site is town-owned propertied that HAC has been awarded development rights to though a RFP process.  All of the units will be occupied by households that are at or below 80% of Area Median Income, are committed to be affordable in perpetuity, and meet all requirements for listing on the State Subsidized Housing Inventory. One unit will be fully handicap accessible.

Am I Eligible to Live Here?

All apartments will be set aside for households that make at or below 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI) set by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).  HUD updates the local AMIs each year.

Project Timeline

We hope to begin construction before the end of 2023.  However, the exact timing is dependent on local and state funding announcements. The project is under review for state funding by the Massachusetts Department of Housing and Economic Development (DHCD).  Once started, construction is expected to last 12 months.
